We strive to provide employees with an environment in which they can thrive. As part of this we provide regular company events, staff lunches, a work cafe and an employee of the month programme. Employees are also encouraged to help the environment and give back to local communities through charity days.
Health and Well-being
We support health and well-being, especially mental health, through our Mental Health First Aiders Programme, the Employee Assistance Programme and localised occupational health services. We also assist colleagues with progressive or chronic illnesses, making reasonable adjustments to their roles. This ensures a better quality of working life for all.
Holidays and Benefits
Up to 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension with Royal London, additional paid leave and special leave, travel subsidy and mileage, free parking and EV charging points, paid charity volunteer days, an employee discounts platform and a cycle to work scheme.
Training
From regular training to courses and further learning, we provide a structured approach to your training and development.
Equipment
Start from day one with all the equipment you need including a company laptop and mobile.
Flexible Working
We work with you to provide a range of flexible working options. Engineers and Agile Workers have more restricted flexibility, but we discuss adjustments during interviews to accommodate needs.
"I joined Metro Rod in October 2021 and have since acquired valuable skills that have contributed to my personal development. Starting in the Contact Centre, I quickly progressed to the Further Rec team and eventually had the opportunity to work alongside Filta Group UK, our sister company. Through my experiences in these various departments, I gained the knowledge necessary to secure my current role as the Web Lead Coordinator. It's truly rewarding to witness the achievements that can be made when working together with different parties and maintaining a willingness to learn."

Web Lead Coordinator
