Salary – National Living Wage (£22,568 aged 18-20, £26,437 aged 21 & over)

Within the Waste & Water Services Division of Franchise Brands, is also Willow Pumps and Filta. Two expanding businesses that focus on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions. Together, the brands provide a complete one-stop shop for keeping water and waste flowing.

The role:

We are seeking a General Assistant to support our Drainage Engineers and Tanker Engineers.

This is a full-time permanent role and is ideal for someone who is interesting in the Drainage industry and/or learning a trade whereby you can learn on the job. There is a massive opportunity for development, training and progression and will involve you in providing a range of emergency and contracted services to both commercial and domestic customers.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• To support our Engineers in carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning clearance, repair and maintenance of our customer’s drains
• To deliver an exceptional standard of customer service
• To ensure you work in accordance with H&S and Quality Assurance procedures
• Communicate effectively with clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times

• Have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude

• Be willing to work some unsociable hours
• Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors
• Have a keen interest and desire to progress within the drainage industry
• Be willing to work towards drainage certifications
• Have or be working towards gaining a driving licence (clean)
